The Butt and Oyster is a live radio sitcom which was first aired on Burst Radio Station in February 2019. The sitcom follows Harry and Eddie in the weekly whacky adventures to keep their local pub - The Butt and Oyster - from closing its doors.
The sitcom was written by Harry Allmark and Eddie FJ, the pair would write the structure and events of that weeks episode then improvise all the dialogue while voices the shows characters. Each week, apart from the first and last episode had a special guest who would voice a specific character in that weeks show.
Taking inspiration from The Mighty Boosh the show was an absurdist comedy which saw the two protagonists in facial, slapstick situations in a world with no limitations.
The series is currently being adapted into a live version with Harry Allmark and Eddie FJ returning to play their characters, Harry and Eddie.
